Residents Benefits Package FAQ's

  • Can I opt out of this Resident Benefits Package?

    • Yes – But only the Insurance Portion. G&M Properties is providing the Resident Benefits Package to all its Residents. The included insurance coverage is under a Master Policy and applied to each home under management. Residents receive the benefits of the coverage without having to go through a separate company.
  • What if I have my own Renters Insurance coverage?

    • The Resident Benefits Package will apply to all homes and Residents under the Master Policy. Residents may opt out of the insurance portion of this program by showing proof of Renter’s Insurance with coverage of at least $100,000 of General Liability & $10,000 of Renters Insurance covering personal belongings, and naming G&M Properties as ADDITIONALLY INSURED for a cost difference savings of $10.95 per month.
  • What does the Rent Reward system include and how can I claim it?

    • When you sign your lease with G&M Properties instructions will be emailed to you on how to activate you rewards account.
  • Does this cover my renter’s insurance?

    • Yes - This covers all of your insurance requirements to rent a house from G&M Properties.
  • Is the cost per tenant?

    • No - This is the cost overall per month. If there are multiple unrelated tenants in a house the price is still a total price of $30.95 a month.
  • Do I still need to pay deductible?

    • There is no deductible for the general liability policy with the exception of:                                  Bed Bug Remediation, Pet Damage, and Mold Remediation where a $250.00 deductible applies.
    • Renters Insurance Personal Content Coverage a $500 deductible applies.
  • How do I sign up?

    • You are signed up when you sign a lease with us, and monthly billing is just attached to your monthly rental amount.
  • How do I cancel when I move out? Am I automatically unenrolled from RBP?

    • Yes - You are automatically unenrolled at move out.
  • Where do I claim? How can I claim against my insurance?

    • Claims are submitted by calling                             1-800-723-2524
